Biography: Dr. Joshua B. Goldberg is a board-certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon, Associate Professor of Cardiothoracic Surgery in the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Weill Cornell Medicine/New York Presbyterian Hospital, and the Surgical Director of the Structural Heart Surgery Program.Dr. Goldberg earned his Medical Degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine where he was a Rudin Scholar, he was awarded the prestigious David E. Rodgers Fellowship from the New York Academy of Medicine for his research, and where he graduated with a degree of distinction in Cardiac Surgery.He completed his General Surgery Internship and Residency at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center where he also spent 2 years dedicated to cardiovascular outcomes research, resulting in numerous publications and national presentations. While at Dartmouth, he was awarded the "Best of the Best Award" for "superior patient care, delivered with kindness and compassion".Dr. Goldberg then completed his Cardiothoracic Surgery Fellowship and served as Chief Resident at Harvard's Massachusetts General Hospital and while there, trained at Boston Children's Hospital. While at the MGH, Dr Goldberg continued his research, and was throughout awarded the opportunity to present his research at National and International conferences.Dr. Goldberg is honored to be recruited to join the world class Cardiothoracic Surgery team at Weill Cornell. He brings with him a decade of experience and expertise caring for some of the highest risk patients, with the most complex cardiac surgical problems. There are few surgeons in the world who are as skilled with both open surgical and transcatheter skills in treating complex diseases of the aortic, mitral, and tricuspid valves, aortic aneurysms, coronary arteries, heart failure, transplants, and pulmonary embolisms. Dr. Goldberg's extensive experience treating high-risk complex diseases and his passion for delivering the highest quality care with the utmost safety, has resulted in his development of numerous novel techniques and protocols to safely manage patients with complex problems. His focus on quality and safety, as well as his personalized bedside manner, has resulted in numerous annual Top Doc awards.Dr. Goldberg has authored numerous scientific publications and book chapters. He served as the Chair for the American Heart Association's Scientific Statement on the surgical management of pulmonary embolisms and the Society of Thoracic Surgeons Consensus Statement on endocarditis. His research has been recognized with numerous awards including "Best Journal Article of the Year", "Editor in Chief's Top Picks of the Year", and "Most Important Article of the year". Dr. Goldberg is an active member of numerous national and international academic societies such as the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, American Association for Thoracic Surgery, and the American Heart Association where he holds positions on the workforce on evidence based surgery, workforce on ethics, and structural heart working group.

Biography: Dr. Nupoor Narula earned her medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where she graduated with Distinction in Research. She completed a 3-year Internal Medicine residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She pursued a Vascular Medicine fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital, is board-certified in Vascular Medicine, and is skilled in whole body vascular imaging, earning her Registered Physician in Vascular Imaging credential after extensive training in vascular ultrasound. She completed her Cardiovascular Diseases fellowship at New York Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell Medical College. During her Fellowship, she trained under Dr. Mary J. Roman and Dr. Richard B. Devereux, with a special emphasis on the clinical and imaging evaluation of individuals with aortic diseases. During her Fellowship, she also served as the President of the American Heart Association Cardiovascular Fellows Society of Greater New York. She received grant funding for her research during her Fellowship by the Michael Wolk Heart Foundation and is currently a Fund for the Future Grant Kellen Scholar at Weill Cornell Medicine.In addition to her outpatient clinical practice, she will serve as an attending on the inpatient Cardiology unit and interpret both echocardiograms and vascular ultrasound imaging. Dr. Narula also speaks Hindi and Punjabi.

Biography: Erden Goljo, MD is a practicing cardiac electrophysiologist at Weill Cornell Medical Center and anAssistant Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell School of Medicine.Dr. Goljo was born in Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina and grew up on Long Island, NY. He received his medical degree from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City, completed internal medicine training at Yale New Haven Hospital, and completed general cardiology training at Stony Brook University Hospital on Long Island, where he was named chief cardiology fellow.
