His main interests include urologic cancers, medical and surgical management of kidney stones, general urology and minimally invasive surgery including prostatectomy, nephrectomy, and cystectomy. He is also a member of the American Urologic Association, Endourologic Society, and South Eastern Section of the American Urologic Association. Dr. Shahrour believes the best outcome in treatment of urological disorders is the result of a team-based approach and effctive communication with his patients. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and stays active playing soccer, squash and golf. He is also an avid fan of Chelsea Football Club. Dr. Shahrour is also multilingual in English, Arabic, Spanish and French.

Care Philosophy: I aim to provide the best care to patients in the least invasive fashion by combining my unique training in urology and interventional radiology. I also do not believe in using opioids and believe their harms far outweigh the benefits. I have performed over five hundred major and minor surgeries without the use of opioids after surgery. In almost all cases, patient outcomes and satisfaction were higher and overall pain levels were lower than those managed with opioids.
