Biography: Dr. Shafizadeh has surgical expertise and interest in cerebrovascular and skull base microneurosurgery, neuro-oncology, pituitary tumors and complex spinal instrumentation. Prior to joining ANI, Dr. Shafizadeh completed neurosurgical residency training at Northwestern University, where he also completed advanced surgical training-enfolded fellowship in cerebrovascular and skull base surgery. Dr. Shafizadeh also completed a fellowship in microneurosurgery.

Biography: Dr. Abuelem has a clinical interest in microneurosurgery and complex cranial surgery, including cerebrovascular disorders, skull base tumors, pituitary tumors, endoscopic assisted skull base surgery, neuroendoscopy, brain neurophysiology, epilepsy surgery and spinal disorders. Before joining ANI, Dr. Abuelem served as a post-doctoral fellow at Harvard Medical School and received neurosurgical residency training at Baylor College of Medicine and MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Abuelem also completed a fellowship in cerebrovascular and skull base surgery at ANI.
