Biography: David Taub, M.D., is the director of urologic oncology at Eugene M. & Christine E. Lynn Cancer Institute at Boca Raton Regional Hospital, part of Baptist Health. He is also the director of urologic robotic surgery. Dr. Taub specializes in treating urologic cancer. Prior to joining Eugene M. & Christine E. Lynn Cancer Institute in 2016, Dr. Taub was on staff at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Medical Association and the American Urological Association. Dr. Taub also holds a Master of Business Administration from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. Dr. Taub's research has been published in peer-reviewed publications, including Urology, the Journal of Urology, BJU International, Neurourology and Urodynamics, and the Journal of Clinical Oncology. He has also presented at numerous industry events and conferences. Dr. Taub's care philosophy is to use a patient-centric, holistic approach. He believes that treating a patient is a team effort between a physician, patient, their families, and other specialized physicians when necessary. His mission is to provide safe, comfortable, quality care to all his patients to get the intended results. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Taub enjoys being active through running, biking, traveling and spending time with family. He particularly enjoys being outside in the Florida sunshine.

Care Philosophy: Oncology has been a primary interest of Dr. Tyler's since his early stages of training. In fellowship, he co-authored a textbook chapter on robotic-assisted surgery while also being involved in cutting edge translational prostate cancer research at the JWCI. He is also an active member in the American Urological Association (AUA). Furthermore, he remains continuously motivated to bring the current trends in urologic cancer management with care and compassion to each and every one of his patients.
