Biography: This physician is accepting telehealth visits. Dr. Sarah Payne is from Birmingham, Alabama. She graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Art History. After college, she spent two years teaching English in Prague, Czech Republic, where she met her husband. Upon moving back to the United States, she attended the University of South Alabama for medical school where she was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society and graduated in the top 10 percent of her class. Dr. Payne completed her internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Payne enjoys providing compassionate, holistic, high-quality care to women of all ages from teens through menopause. She treats a wide variety of conditions including abnormal bleeding, ovarian cysts, fibroids, infertility, endometriosis, testing for hereditary cancers (e.g., breast, ovarian, endometrial, colon), treatment for menopausal symptoms with bio-identical hormones, and more. She loves delivering babies and taking care of high-risk and normal pregnancies. She specializes in minimally invasive surgery including robotic surgery that allows women to recover quicker and get back to their active lives. Dr. Payne is a warm, compassionate physician, who brings her welcoming charm to our practice. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three kids, as well as her four-legged kid (Mona, a yellow lab). She also enjoys finding new restaurants in Denver, gardening, skiing, and Alabama Football.

Biography: This physician is accepting telehealth visits.Dr. Maeve Felle was born and raised in Maine, but came across the country to study environmental biology at the University of Colorado. She then received her MD from the University of Texas and returned to Colorado to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Colorado. Her clinical interests include general obstetrics, and gynecology with focuses in breastfeeding and contraception. She also speaks conversational Spanish. Dr. Felle lives in the Stapleton neighborhood and enjoys the parks and trails with her husband and two children. She also enjoys yoga, gardening, and cooking with her family.

Biography: Dr. Robert Wester was raised in Denver and is a third generation Park Hill resident. He and his wife have three children (two sons and a daughter). When not practicing obstetrics and gynecology, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading, running, and hiking the Colorado mountains.

Biography: Dr. Sarah Takimoto is a Colorado native. She attended the University of Southern California for her undergraduate degree and received her medical degree from Creighton University. She completed her OB/GYN residency at St. Joseph's Hospital, and joined Midtown OB/GYN in 2018. Dr. Takimoto's interests in OB/GYN include maternal safety and postpartum care, family planning, minimally invasive surgery, and teaching residents. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active, cooking and discovering new restaurants. She is married with a young son and is bilingual in Spanish.

Biography: Dr.PolinaRovner is a Colorado transplant. She attended the University of Virginia for her undergraduate degree where she studied Human Biology. She completed her medical education at Virginia Commonwealth University, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. She left the East Coast in 2013 and made Denver her new home. She recently completed her residency training at the University of Colorado and joined Midtown OB/GYN in 2017. Dr. Rovner's interests include early pregnancy, infertility, minimally invasive surgery, and resident education. Outside of work, she enjoys skiing, cross stitching, reading, and exploring Denver with her husband.

Biography: This physician is accepting telehealth visits.Prior to coming to Denver, Samantha Patwardhan, MD completed her OB/GYN residency at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, where she also served as chief resident. She received awards for laparoscopic skills and for clinical research in her chief year. Her undergraduate degree in biology and studio art is from the College of William & Mary, and her medical degree is from the University of Virginia. Her clinical interests, including general obstetrics & gynecology, are hysteroscopy, laparoscopy, and contraception. She enjoys life in Colorado with her husband, who is a urogynecologist, and their two energetic boys. She loves running, tennis, knitting, and biking around Denver with her family.

Biography: Dr. Lauren May joined Midtown OBGYN in 2014 after completing her medical school and residency training at the University of Colorado.She received her undergraduate degrees in Molecular Biology and Creative Writing from Lehigh University. Dr. Mayis Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.She has alsoserved as a volunteer physicianin Peru, Tanzania,and the Dominican Republic. In their free time, she and her husband enjoy hiking, skiing, playing soccer, andspending time with family, friends, their two young children and their two dogs.

Biography: Dr. Penrose is a Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist who has been affiliated with the Medical Center of Aurora since 2000. In 2003 she founded Generations OB/GYN in Aurora, CO. Originally from California she moved to Colorado to attend the University of Colorado, Boulder, Vermont to attend the University of Vermont College of Medicine and then Michigan for her residency. Dr. Penrose served as Administrative Chief Resident during her last year of training. Since returning to Colorado in 2000 she has provided guidance and medical expertise in a quaint and attentive office setting. A Generalist by training qualifying her in every aspect of women's health, obstetrics or gynecology, through every decade of your life. She is the only single site robotic surgeon in the metro Denver area; a virtually scar-less surgery. Gynecologic surgeries that required 3-day hospitalization can now be performed through a small incision in the belly bottom AND you can go home the same day! Less pain and a quicker recovery enabling you to return to your normal life sooner.In her free time Dr. Penrose enjoys spending time with her husband, eldest daughter and boy/girl twins.
