Biography: Shari Sopher, MD is OB/GYN board certified and a member of the Upper Chesapeake Women's Care practice. Dr. Sopher attended State University of New York Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn where she received her medical degree. She went on to complete an internship and residency at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, MD where she spent time as an obstetrics and gynecology staff physician. Before joining Upper Chesapeake Women's Care, Dr. Sopher was in private practice.

Biography: Dr. Farrior received her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey"New Jersey Medical School, followed by a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. She has an MBA from the Carey Business School at Johns Hopkins University.

Biography: Dr. Argeles is the Chair of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UM BWMC. Dr. Argeles received his undergraduate degree from Duke University, a Master in Public Health from the University of South Florida and a Doctor of Medicine at the Ponce School of Medicine in Puerto Rico. He completed his internship and residency at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Pennsylvania, and was named OB/GYN Teacher of the Year several years in a row. Dr. Argeles is board certified and is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He is specially trained to perform da Vinci robotic gynecologic surgeries and laparoscopic procedures. Dr. Argeles is an assistant professor of OB/GYN and reproductive science at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He speaks fluent Spanish and has been a member of UM BWMC's medical staff since 2005.
