Biography: I am a lifelong Clevelander. I graduated from Beachwood High School in 1987 and completed my undergraduate education at Cleveland State University. I then completed my first two years of medical school in Athens, OH at Ohio University. My last two years of medical school training were done in Warrensville, OH at what used to be called Brentwood Hospital and later Meridia South Pointe Hospital. I graduated medical school in 1996. I then completed a General Psychiatry residency and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship at University Hospitals of Cleveland. I was board certified in both General Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry by the American Academy of Psychiatry & Neurology. _x000D_ _x000D_ In 2002, I went on to start work as an attending Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist at MetroHealth Medical Center for about 12 years. During my time there, I was promoted to director of the Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Division and Assistant Professor through Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. I joined LifeStance, previously known as Psychological & Behavioral Consultants, around 2015. I see new patients up to 17 years old, and I continue seeing patients into adulthood, as needed. I specialize in evaluating and treating patients for ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, OCD, Panic Attacks, Social Phobia, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, and Autism Spectrum Disorders. My philosophy of prescribing medications, if needed, is to treat your child as if they were my own; I use my expertise and knowledge, with over 20 years of clinical practice experience, to choose the safest medications, with the least side effects, and at the lowest doses, for your child.
