Biography: Vipul Patel, MD, FACS, is the director of the Global Robotics Institute at AdventHealth Celebration. He leads one of the world's most experienced robotic surgery teams and travels around the world to educate physicians and care for patients. He is the editor emeritus of The Journal of Robotic Surgery and editor of the first-ever robotic urology textbook. Dr. Patel is world-renowned for his contribution to the field of robotic surgery and is committed to personalized patient care and quality outcomes. He is one of the most experienced robotic surgeons in the world and has personally performed over 16,000 robotic prostatectomies. In addition, Dr. Patel is the medical director of the AdventHealth Celebration Cancer Institute Urologic Oncology Program. He is a professor of urology at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine in Orlando, Florida, and a clinical associate professor of urology at Nova Southeastern University, also in Orlando. He is the founder of the International Prostate Cancer Foundation (IPCF) and a founding member of the Society of Robotic Surgery. He serves as an honorary professor at the University of Milan, Korea University and Ricardo Palma University in Lima, Peru, and was recently made an honorary professor of the Russian Academy of Science. Dr. Patel previously served as director of the Robotic Surgery Program at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, prior to joining AdventHealth Celebration in 2008. During his tenure, he was also in charge of minimally invasive urologic surgery and associate professor of urology and bioinformatics. Dr. Patel is board certified by the American Urological Association and completed his residency and fellowship training at the University of Miami in Florida.

Care Philosophy: Dr Erica Stockwell is an advanced gynecologic surgeon who always goes above and beyond She joined AdventHealth Medical Group from Las Vegas where she was Assistant Fellowship Program Director for an internationally acclaimed minimally invasive surgery program and Medical Director of the Las Vegas Pelvic Health Center Initially a biomedical engineer she went on to earn her medical degree from Midwestern University where she was awarded the prestigious departmental award in OB GYN She completed her residency training at the University of Minnesota where she served as chief resident and developed a robotic surgical training program She received the American Urogynecologic Society s AUGS excellence in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery award and the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons SLS award for outstanding laparoendoscopic resident She then completed a fellowship in advanced gynecologic surgery with Las Vegas Institute of Minimally Invasive Surgery where she was awarded the Boston Scientific Innovations in MIS Women s Pelvic Health award She also concurrently completed her MBA through the Lee Business School at the University of Nevada Utilizing her background in biomedical engineering Dr Stockwell s passion is to develop safer and more effective surgical innovations She currently holds patents on several diverse technology based medical and surgical devices In addition to her work as a practicing physician Dr Stockwell is an entrepreneur who recently launched a nutraceutical company for women She is also interested in international health and has participated in medical missions to Tanzania Peru and Colombia

Care Philosophy: Dr Xavier Rom n Hernandez grew up appreciating obstetrician gynecologists He watched his mother an OB GYN dedicate her career to women s health She even saved his life at the moment of delivery Today Dr Rom n Hernandez is a board certified OB GYN whose passion for public health has impacted numerous women in the Kissimmee Florida area Dr Rom n Hernandez believes a healthy community benefits every single person living within it Growing up in Puerto Rico Dr Rom n Hernandez graduated with clinical honors and a medical degree from Ponce Health Science University He moved to Orlando Florida to complete his OB GYN residency at Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women Babies During his time there he earned the Spirit of Winnie Award Dr Rom n Hernandez also won the Outstanding Educator Award during his residency He is a member of the American College of Obstetricians Gynecologists the American Medical Association and the Florida Medical Association Dr Rom n Hernandez finds delivering babies the most rewarding aspect of his practice He loves seeing the joyous faces of new parents after the long journey of pregnancy It is a beautiful moment to share their smiles and happiness As a husband and father of three spending time with his own family is the most precious aspect of his life When he isn t healing and caring for women s health Dr Rom n Hernandez teaches his kids how to shoot a layup drive a golf ball or hit a grand slam Dr Rom n Hernandez speaks English and Spanish

Care Philosophy: Subhia Rehman MD is an OB GYN physician who joined AdventHealth Medical Group from Michigan State University s Hurley Medical Center in Flint where she completed a rigorous obstetrics and gynecology residency A native of Kashmir and graduate of the University of Bari and the University of Milan s medical school in Italy she enjoys exploring different cultures and speaks five languages including English Italian Urdu Hindi and Kashmiri Dr Rehman earned multiple scholarships while at the University of Milan and was honored multiple times with the Apple Award a token of appreciation from nurses and patients during her residency at Hurley Medical Center She is also a recipient of 2019 Outstanding Resident in Gynecology Oncology by SGO and the 2019 Chief Resident award
