Care Philosophy: Dr Enas Abdallah is an Assistant Member in the Moffitt Cancer Center Department of Malignant Hematology. Dr Abdallah earned her MD from Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt. She completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Henry Ford Allegiance Health and a Geriatric Medicine Fellowship at Beaumont Health in Michigan. Dr Abdallah's clinical and scholarly interests are focused on inpatient management of malignant hematology patients. She will work closely with all members of the inpatient team to optimize care and outcomes.

Care Philosophy: Dr Khimani's Clinical interest is specifically in Blood and Marrow transplantation. His area of focus is Lymphoma and Acute Leukemia. He routinely takes care of patients with Hodgkin's lymphoma, Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, Acute Myeloid leukemia, acute lymphoblastic leukemia and myelodysplastic syndrome etc. who require autologous or allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation as a curative treatment option for their malignancy.

Care Philosophy: Dr David Sallman is an Assistant Member in the Department of Malignant Hematology at Moffitt Cancer Center. Dr Sallman's clinical interests are myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN). Dr Sallman earned his MD degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine. He completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Massachusetts General Hospital and, most recently, a Hematology/Oncology Fellowship at Moffitt Cancer Center.

Care Philosophy: I have been in practice over seventeen years in Saint Petersburg area. My self and my office staff take a personal treatment approach for each patients seen in our office, regardless of their insurance status. Cancer is a very serious illness and I believe in giving my best of knowledge, compession and caring treatment environment to my patients. Care Philosophy: Dr Pinilla-Ibarz has been at Moffitt since 2006 and holds the rank of Senior Member and Head of Lymphoma Section in the Department of Malignant Hematology. Dr Pinilla-Ibarz received the 2016-17 Moffitt Physician of the Year Award. He was also the recipient of the ASCO young investigator award in 2003 and the ASCO career development award in 2007. Dr Pinilla-Ibarz is nationally and internationally known for his expertise in chronic leukemia and he currently has over 120 peer-reviewed publications. He has received grant support through the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and also from multiple industry partners. His clinical interests include chronic myeloid leukemia and chronic lymphoid leukemia.

Biography: Dr. Ahmad Shaker, MD is a Hematology Specialist who practices in St Petersburg, FL. He is 42 years old. Dr. Ahmad Shaker, MD is affiliated with HCA Florida Northside Hospital.

Care Philosophy: Gustavo Rivero, MD, is a dual fellowship-trained hematology and medical oncologist specializing in the treatment of acute and chronic leukemia. Dr Riveros areas of clinical expertise includes: acute and chronic myeloid leukemias, acute lymphoid leukemias, myelodysplastic syndrome, myeloproliferative neoplasm, and clonal hematopoiesis of indetermined potential (CHIP).

Care Philosophy: Dr Laber is a hematologist/oncologist and senior member with Moffitt Medical Group in the Satellite and Community Oncology Department practicing at Tampa General Hospital and Moffitt international Plaza. The MMG faculty at TGH provides invaluable oncology services to the large patient population of this leading regional hospital. Dr Laber earned his MD at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Cleveland Clinic Health System, and was designated Chief Resident during his term at Hillcrest and Southpointe Hospitals.

Care Philosophy: Dr Rachid Baz is a board-certified hematologist and medical oncologist who came to Moffitt in 2008 from Cleveland Clinic. Currently, Dr Baz is the Myeloma Section Head in the Department of Malignant Hematology at Moffitt Cancer Center and co-Director of the Pentecost Family Myeloma Research Center. He has developed a special expertise in managing patients with plasma cell disorders such as multiple myeloma, monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance (MGUS), plasmacytoma, primary systematic amyloidosis, and Waldenstrom's macroglobulinemia (WM). Among other awards, he was the recipient of the Junior Clinical Science Award at Moffitt, and the University of South Florida Outstanding Resident Teaching Award.
