Biography: Dr. Vickie Massey, MD is a board-certified physician specializing in radiation oncology with Midwest Oncology Associates located in Kansas City, MO. She is board certified in Radiation Oncology and affiliated with Research Medical Center. Dr. Massey has years of experience and specialized clinical interests in cancer treatment with minimal impact to surrounding healthy tissue. She has practiced in the greater Kansas City metropolitan area since 1991.Dr. Massey earned her medical degree at the University of Missouri Kansas City within the renowned six-year program. She completed her professional internship at St. Mary's Health Center in St. Louis, MO. She also completed a residency program at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, NY.Dr. Massey has held many professional board and committee appointments within the greater Kansas City metropolitan area. She also has received many local and national honors and awards over the course of her practicing career. She is a Fellow of the American College of Radiology, a member of the American Medical Association, the American Society of Clinical Oncologists, the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology, among many others.

I focus on genetic family testing where needed for prevention or early detection in familial incidences.Rehabilitation: I believe in treating cancer and then following up with rehabilitative services as needed for a more efficient return to normalcy to the extent possible.
