Dr. Oluoha trained in general internal medicine at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, IL, and went to work as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Meharry Medical College. During his time at Meharry, he received the Faculty Award for Excellence in Patient Care, awarded to physicians who go above and beyond best practices to deliver extraordinary care. He was also recognized by residents for superior teaching skills, winning the Outstanding Teaching Award. To pursue his passion for Oncology, he subsequently completed fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. Prior to joining Texas Oncology, Dr. Oluoha worked at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI practicing medical oncology & hematology while training fellows, residents and medical students. Dr. Oluoha has demonstrated a strong commitment to patient-centered care and medical education. He's also made significant research contributions through publications in peer-reviewed journals and roles as institutional principal investigator in several clinical trials including NCI cooperative group trials. Dr. Oluoha is committed to delivering high-quality patient care, improving patient outcomes and advancing clinical trials at Texas Oncology. He currently sees patients at two locations in the Houston metro area, with access to multidisciplinary care including medical, radiation and surgical oncologists, genetic evaluation and clinical trials.

Biography: Beau Kirkwood, D.O. is a board certified Family Medicine physician with Kirkwood Medical Associates in Pasadena and Deer Park, Texas. Dr. Kirkwood obtained his bachelor of art in liberal studies from Florida College. He then went on to Lincoln Memorial University, Debusk College of Osteopathic Medicine where he earned his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Kirkwood completed his Family Medicine residency at University of Texas Medical Branch. Dr. Kirkwood believes you must treat the whole person rather than just the disease. He enjoys Family Medicine because it is such a broad scope of practice that is challenging and rewarding while you get to build relationships with people and the community. Growing up in a family full of physicians and healthcare professionals, he knew this was going to be his calling.When not treating patients, Dr. Kirkwood loves spending time with family and friends, listening to music, going to church, playing sports, and traveling. He welcomes new patients and referrals. When appropriate, the practice does offer telehealth visits.
