Biography: Growing up, Dr. Levonne MitchellSamon watched her father provide rides for people seeking medical care. Seeing those people in pain or in need led her to pursue a career in medicine. "I feel privileged to be able to go to work and do what I enjoy the most, which is to interact with people and help them improve their health and their lives in general," she says. She likes working with patients to help them make small changes and always takes the time to listen to patients' concerns. She considers herself "a partner in their health journey."
