Biography: F. Anthony Greco, MD Co-Founder Dr. Greco founded Sarah Cannon Research Institute in 1993 along with John D. Hainsworth, MD to create the first community-based clinical trial program outside of an academic setting. Dr. Greco received his undergraduate degree in 1968 and medical degree in 1972 from West Virginia University. He completed his internship at the University of California, Los Angeles and residency at West Virginia University Medical Center, both in internal medicine. He then earned a fellowship in medical oncology from the National Cancer Institute. He is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology.
