As a former Division I student-athlete trained in Orthopedic Sports Medicine and Shoulder Fellowship, I provide a unique perspective to my patients. Care Philosophy: Dr. Stanislaw prefers a non-operative approach to the management of orthopedic problems. Prior to the consideration of surgery, he utilizes a variety of non-surgical treatments to alleviate symptoms and correct problems. If non-operative measures do not adequately help, Dr. Stanislaw will discuss the surgical options and the potential benefits and risks. In addition, the surgical procedure and post-operative course are thoroughly reviewed prior to any surgical intervention.

Care Philosophy: Dr. Scobercea believes in individualized care customized to each patient's specific needs and activities, from the competitive athlete to weekend warrior to those desiring to return to normal daily function. He utilizes the latest techniques and technology, such as computer navigation, robotic assistance, and imaging based planning software, to perform surgery with the highest degree of accuracy and precision. He strives for the best possible outcomes and loves to see his patients get back to doing the things they love to do.

Care Philosophy: Dr. Huang is a proponent of designing minimally invasive surgical treatment plans based on the patient's primary symptoms rather than the radiological imaging, which often shows a multitude of abnormalities, many of which may be unrelated to the patient's symptoms. Dr. Huang takes pride in ensuring his patients' thorough understanding of their condition and engaging them in shared decision-making regarding the goals of surgery.

Biography: Dr. Prasarn specializes in the surgical care of complex spinal disorders and orthopaedic trauma. He earned his medical degree from NYU School of Medicine and completed his orthopaedic residency at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital. Following his residency, Dr. Prasarn finished a Fellowship in Orthopaedic Trauma at the Hospital for Special Surgery. He then went on to complete the Louis A. Goldstein Spinal Surgery fellowship at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Additionally, he has been a visiting fellow at MD Anderson Cancer Institute. He has worked as a full professor and clinical surgeon here in Houston for the past 13 years.
