Biography: Pedro M. Ramirez, M.D., is a board-eligible neurosurgeon. Dr. Ramirez completed his medical education at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos in Lima, Peru, followed by a general surgery internship at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach. He completed his neurosurgical residency at the University of New Mexico. He is fellowship trained in General Neurosurgery and Critical Care, and has an enfolded fellowship in Spine Surgery. Dr. Ramirez has received the "UNM Neuroscience" Award for resident research. He has been published in peer-review journals and has lectured nationally and internationally in neurosurgical forums. He has written book chapters such as Neurosurgery Knowledge Update: Brain Abscess. Dr. Ramirez specializes in Complex and Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery, Tumors, Endoscopic Procedures, Trauma, and Critical Care. Biography: Dr. Vivek Nagar is an interventional pain management physician. After graduating from the University of Miami, Dr. Nagar received his medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He went on to complete his residency in Physical Medicine &Rehabilitation and fellowship in Pain Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Montefiore Medical Center in New York. While in training, he was selected by his peers and faculty for the prestigious position of Chief Resident. He then went on to serve as Chief Fellow during his time in fellowship. He has authored textbook chapters in the field of pain medicine and physiatry, and has published peer-reviewed research on interventional pain management Dr. Nagar's goal is to create personalized treatment plans for his patients, with an emphasis on improving functional outcomes and quality of life. Dr. Nagar provides comprehensive care for a wide variety of painful conditions of the spine, nerves, joints and muscles by integrating non-surgical and non-opioid pain-relieving treatments. Dr. Nagar uses precise image guidance to perform various minimally invasive treatments including spine injections and procedures, peripheral nerve blocks, and joint injections. He specializes in neuromodulation, including spinal cord stimulation and dorsal root ganglion stimulation. Dr. Nagar is fluent in English and Spanish. Biography: Francisco Noda, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon. After receiving his medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, Dr. Noda returned to the University of Puerto Rico School to complete an orthopedic surgery residency. He also completed an orthopaedic traumatology fellowship at Cooper Hospital University Medical Center. A highly experienced clinician, Dr. Noda, has served as an orthopedic surgeon for more than 20 years.
