He has over 100 peer reviewed publications with extensive research experience. His current research interests include evaluating factors that affect surgical outcomes and the economic impact of surgical procedures on patients and healthcare systems. He has been a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons since 2014 and has been involved nationally in many surgical professional societies.
