Care Philosophy: Dr Ricardo Gonzalez is a surgical oncologist and Chair of the Sarcoma Department at Moffitt Cancer Center. He also serves as a member of the Cutaneous Program at Moffitt Cancer Center. He is an associate professor at the University Of South Florida College Of Medicine's Department of Oncologic Sciences and Department of Surgery. Dr Gonzalez' research and clinical interests include outcomes analyses and management of patients with soft tissue sarcomas, retroperitoneal sarcomas, desmoid tumors, gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST) and head and neck melanoma.

He is fully-trained in all aspects of abdominal transplant surgery including liver, kidney and pancreas transplants as well as laparoscopic donor nephrectomies. He also specializes in the surgical treatment of diseases of the liver, biliary tract and pancreas. A native of Slovakia, Dr. Porubsky completed his medical training at Komensky University in Bratislava, Slovakia. He has worked at a number of universities and hospitals around the world including surgery departments in Slovakia, Germany, Illinois, Indiana and Arizona. He is a member of The United Network for Organ Sharing, The American Society for Transplant Surgeons, The American College of Surgeons and The American Medical Association.

Care Philosophy: Anthony V. DeIorio, Jr., MD is a board certified general surgeon with over two decades of experience providing general surgery care. He utilizes the latest techniques and procedures with minimally invasive approaches. After pursuing her undergraduate education at the University of Colorado in Boulder, she received her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin and then completed her general surgery residency at Saint Louis University in Saint Louis, MO. Dr. Gill has a special focus on breast surgery, and believes strongly in personalized care, considering each patient's needs and ensuring they are comfortable with and well-informed regarding their plans of care.
