Biography: Denis J. Halmi, MD, FACS, Medical Director for Surgical Weight Loss Services, is a specialist in weight loss surgery and medical weight loss. Care Philosophy: In addition to treating many aspects of general surgery, Dr. Meikle focuses his practice on the expert treatment of benign and malignant diseases of the colon, rectum and anus. He is keenly aware of the apprehension that many patients may feel when they need to see a physician for a colorectal surgery problem and strives to make the patient feel as comfortable as possible throughout their treatment course. He enjoys spending time with patients to ensure they fully understand their individual surgical plan. Biography: Masoud Rezvani, MD, FACS, earned his medical degree at the Islamic Azad University in Tehran, Iran. He completed his residency training in General Surgery at Abington Memorial Hospital in Abington, PA. Following his residency, Dr. Rezvani completed a dedicated specialized fellowship in minimally invasive weight loss surgery, where he has gained expertise and experience in advanced laparoscopic bariatric surgery and surgical endoscopy. His training also included robotic surgery utilizing the DaVinci System to perform weight loss surgery. Dr. Rezani is certified by the American Board of Surgery and his a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
