Biography: Joseph Greene, MD, MBA, FACS, FASMBS, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained surgeon specializing in bariatric and general surgery with Capital Surgical Associates in Reston, Virginia, and is affiliated with Reston Hospital Center. Dr. Greene earned his Doctor of Medicine at University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Coral Gables, Florida. He then completed his residency in general surgery with MedStar Health Georgetown/Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C., and a bariatric, robotic, and advanced laparoscopic surgery fellowship at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital in Fairfax, Virginia. Prior to his medical training, he earned a Master of Business Administration in Health Sector Management and Policy from University of Miami. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Jewish Studies from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Greene is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. He speaks English and Spanish and has proficiency in Hebrew. Dr. Greene has been published in numerous peer-reviewed publications and presented at national and international conferences on many topics related to bariatric, robotic, and general surgery. Biography: Masoud Rezvani, MD, FACS, earned his medical degree at the Islamic Azad University in Tehran, Iran. He completed his residency training in General Surgery at Abington Memorial Hospital in Abington, PA. Following his residency, Dr. Rezvani completed a dedicated specialized fellowship in minimally invasive weight loss surgery, where he has gained expertise and experience in advanced laparoscopic bariatric surgery and surgical endoscopy. His training also included robotic surgery utilizing the DaVinci System to perform weight loss surgery. Dr. Rezani is certified by the American Board of Surgery and his a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
