He is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and has professional interests in chronic disease management and disease prevention and health management , providing personal comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages. He also performs minor office-based procedures. Dr. Clauson is an Associate Professor for the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences Physician Assistant Program. He is also a member of the North Dakota Medical Association, the American Medical Association, American Academy of Family Physicians, the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and the Sixth District Medical Society.
