Biography: Arthur Johnson, MD, FACS, is a graduate of the UNC School of Medicine in Chapel Hill, NC. He trained in surgery and critical care at EVMS in Norfolk, VA and completed a general surgery residency at Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh, PA. He enjoys caring for seriously injured and general surgery patients. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children as well as hiking and being involved in his church.

Biography: Dr. Michael Melkonian, MD is a General Surgery Specialist who practices in Matthews, NC. He is 56 years old and has been practicing for 30 years. Dr. Michael Melkonian, MD is affiliated with Novant Health Matthews Medical Center.

Biography: Dr. Clark is a native of South Carolina and graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina. He completed his general surgery residency at Orlando Health along with his critical care fellowship. He received further fellowship training in Hand Surgery at the University of Mississippi through the plastic surgery division. He is board certified in all three. He continues to treat the acutely injured and critically ill patients while enjoying an upper extremity and soft tissue coverage practice. Most importantly, Dr. Clark proudly serves as the General Surgery Program Director at Trident and has been training residents since 2017.
