Biography: Clark S. Metzger, MD, is a board certified Orthopedic Surgeoncaring for patients in Pensacola, FL. Dr. Clark S. Metzger received his undergraduate education at Louisiana State University from 1977 to 1980, and was admitted to the University of Tennessee center for the Health Sciences without an undergraduate degree to pursue his MD and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1985. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of South Alabama in 1990. He then completed a one year fellowship in spine surgery at the University of Pittsburgh. He began his spine practice in Pensacola in 1991 and has practiced there and in Covington County Alabama for the last 25 years. He has embraced minimally invasive spine surgery from day one. He also performs the full range of spine surgeries including a special interest in neuromodulation. In the past two years he has had two peer review journal articles published addressing recent advances in spinal cord stimulation.

Biography: Pamela J. Warner, DO, received a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise physiology from Georgia State University, in Atlanta, GA, and a Doctor of Naturopathy degree from Clayton College of Natural Health in Birmingham, AL. She went on to receiver her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Suwannee, GA. Dr. Warner completed her internship in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry in Stratford, NJ, and her residency in orthopaedic surgery from Rowan University, School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford. Before coming to Hughston, she completed a fellowship in orthopaedic trauma surgery at Georgia Orthopaedic Trauma Institute in Macon, GA. Dr. Warner is a member of the Orthopaedic Trauma Association, AO Trauma Association, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Osteopathic Association of Orthopaedics, American Osteopathic Association, American Osteopathic Academy of Sports medicine and other organizations. Dr. Warner has published an article in the American Journal of Orthopaedics on Salter-Harris growth plate fractures and she is currently working on an article on lateral compression fractures in the elderly. The focus of Dr. Warner's orthopaedic practice is acute fracture surgery, treating complex fractures requiring reconstruction, and other trauma related injuries.
