He continued his surgical training in the U.S. with a Transplant Surgery Fellowship at Westchester Medical Center, New York Medical College, followed by a second Transplant Surgery Fellowship at the Northwestern University Comprehensive Transplant Center in Chicago, completing his surgical training in 2009. Biography: Ziyad Nasrawi, M.D., is a Bariatric and General Surgeon at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Brooklyn and assistant professor of clinical surgery at Weil Cornell Medicine. Dr. Nasrawi performs minimally invasive bariatric, laparoscopic and robotic procedures. Including sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass, single anastomosis duodenal intestinal bypass (SADI), and revisional bariatric surgery.
