Biography: Dr. Faseeh Khaja, MD is board certified in internal medicine, hematology, and medical oncology. He joins Pinellas Hematology Oncology after serving as a medical oncologist/hematologist at the University of Florida Health Cancer Center at Orlando Health. Dr. Khaja received his bachelor's degree from Houston Baptist University, where he double majored in biology and chemistry and graduated Summa Cum Laude. He graduated from Ross University School of Medicine with Honors and completed his internal medicine residency at Orlando Health.Dr. Khaja then went on to complete his medical oncology and hematology fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center - Orlando, where he was part of several research projects and published as a lead author. Dr. Khaja has served as associate clinical professor for both Florida State College of Medicine and University of Central Florida College of Medicine. He holds membership in both the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology. He enjoys caring for his patients and spends his free time working out and spending time with his family. He is fluent in English, Spanish, Hindi, and Urdu.

Care Philosophy: Dr Doris Hansen is an Assistant Member in the Moffitt Cancer Center Department of Blood and Marrow Transplant and Cellular Immunotherapy. Dr Hansen earned her MD from St. George's University School of Medicine, Grenada. She completed an Internal Medicine Residency and a Hematology/Oncology Fellowship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. Dr Hansen completed a Fellowship in Blood and Marrow Transplant and Cellular Immunotherapy at Moffitt Cancer Center. Dr Hansen's clinical interests include autologous and allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation for disease processes such as leukemia and multiple myeloma in addition to Chimeric Antigen Receptor Therapy (CAR-T) for plasma cell dyscrasias.

Care Philosophy: Dr Castaneda Puglianini earned his MD from Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in Lima, Peru, and completed an Internal Medicine residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. He completed a Hematology/Oncology fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University/Massey Cancer Center followed by a Blood and Marrow Transplantation and Cellular Immunotherapy fellowship at Moffitt Cancer Center. Dr Castaneda Puglianini joins us from Virginia Commonwealth University where he was an Assistant Professor of Medicine and served as Director, CAR T-Cell Therapy Program in the Division of Hematology/Oncology and Palliative Care at VCU Massey Cancer Center.

Care Philosophy: Dr Kirtane is an Assistant Member in the Department of Head and Neck-Endocrine Oncology and Medical Director for Solid Tumor Cellular Therapy. Dr Kirtane received his MD degree from The University of Florida College of Medicine. He completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Duke University Medical Center. Dr Kirtane completed a Hematology/Oncology Fellowship at the University of Washington and a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Oncology at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. His clinical focus is patients with head and neck-endocrine cancers. He works on the development of innovative cellular therapies for solid tumor cancers and is focused on increasing representation of underrepresented groups to clinical trials.

Care Philosophy: Dr Lazaryan completed his post-graduate medical training in Internal Medicine and Hematology/Medical Oncology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Ohio followed by the faculty appointment in Blood and Marrow Transplantation and hematological malignancies at the University of Minnesota. He also obtained Masters and PhD in Public Health from the State University of NY at Albany and University of Alabama in Birmingham, respectively. Since joining Moffitt in 2018, Dr Lazaryan has been focusing his clinical and research expertise in managing complex patients with lymphoma who are in need for BMT and/or cellular immunotherapy such as CAR T cell therapy.

Biography: Dr. Mirza received his MD degree from the University of South Florida, Morsani College of Medicine. He completed an Internal Medicine Residency at University of South Florida, where he also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Mirza most recently completed a Hematology/Oncology Clinical Fellowship at Yale University, Smilow Cancer Hospital, New Haven, Connecticut. Dr. Mirza's clinical interests involve optimizing cellular therapies for hematologic malignancies. He is also interested in optimizing immune reconstitution and regulating the immune system to maximize long-term clinical outcomes. Dr. Mirza's research has been focused on toxicities associated with hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and cellular therapies for different types of leukemia and lymphoma. He has been actively involved in both single institutional experiences and multi-institutional registry studies as well as translational studies.
