Biography: C. Burcin Taner, M.D., is chair of the Transplant Center at Mayo Clinic's campus in Florida, where he directs all solid-organ transplant activities. Biography: Dr. Michelle DeLeon is a board-certified surgeon specializing in colorectal surgery. Dr. DeLeon earned her medical degree from Thomas Jefferson University. She went on to complete her internship as well as residency in general surgery at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. She is fellowship-trained in colorectal surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. She has completed her undergraduate studies at Brown University. Dr. DeLeon is trained in advanced surgical techniques including robotic surgery, laparoscopic surgery and transanal minimally invasive surgery (TAMIS). She treats a wide variety of colorectal diseases including colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, diverticulitis and anorectal conditions.
