Biography: Lisa Xiao is a Family Medicine Specialist at Oak Street Health specializing in care for adults on Medicare.

Biography: Dr. Haffey received his BA in Literature and Literary Studies in University of Colorado in 2002. He then obtained his DO degree in West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in 2016. He completed his internship at Stony Brook Medicine-Southampton Hospital, followed by a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia/Cornell in 2020. After his Fellowship focusing on Pain Medicine, Dr. Haffey joined Columbia University Medical Center in May 2021 and Weill Cornell Medicine in February 2025 up to present.

Biography: Christine Townsend, MD is an Assistant Professor at Columbia University Medical Center's Department of Rehabilitation and Regenerative Medicine. She specializes in seeing patients with acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries, and sports and dance-related injuries. Dr. Townsend is a former dancer who spent 6 years performing professionally and teaching dance prior to earning her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry at the University of Missouri Kansas City. She received her MD from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed her residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at New York-Presbyterian Columbia and Cornell. She then went on to complete a sports medicine fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Townsend has a first-hand understanding of the importance for athletes, including performing artists, to be functioning physically at the highest level possible. Biography: Dr.Samuel Van de Velde, assistant professor of orthopedic surgery at ColumbiaUniversity Irving Medical Center, is an orthopedic surgeon withNewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Brooklyn. He treats all aspects of the lowerlimb, including pediatric, adolescent, and young adult hip preservation, andsports pathology of the hip and knee. Dr. Van de Velde has a particular focuson specialized surgical interventions for hip and knee disorders, including:periacetabular Ganz osteotomies, femoral osteotomies, surgical hip dislocationand femoral capital realignment, hip arthroscopy, and anterior cruciateligament reconstruction, multi-ligament reconstruction, and meniscalsurgery. After medical school in Louvain, Belgium, Dr. Van de Velde joined the Bioengineering Laboratory at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston where his NIH-funded research was commemorated with a Ph.D. in Medical Sciences at the University of Leiden in the Netherlands. While in Boston, Dr. Van de Velde was an Instructor in orthopedic surgery at Harvard Medical School and completed his master's degree at the Harvard School of Public Health. He also received the Ruth L. Kirschstein Award from the NIH and won the prestigious O'Donoghue Sports Injury Award together with Thomas J. Gill, IV, MD. After completing his orthopedic surgical training at Leiden University Medical Center in the Netherlands, Dr. Van de Velde visited the Royal Children's Hospital in Australia, and completed a fellowship in pediatric orthopedics at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada. He then completed an additional year of specialized training in the diagnosis and treatment of hip pathology in children and young adults in Perth, Australia. Dr. Van de Velde has published more than 50 peer-reviewed articles and has presented his research at both national and international medical conferences. He is a reviewer for several medical journals and sits on the Editorial Board of the American Journal of Sports Medicine. Dr. Van de Velde participated in two medical missions to the Comoros Islands in Africa, where he performed complex limb alignment, corrective surgeries, and trained local providers. He lives with his wife and three children on Park Slope in Brooklyn.

Biography: ENGLISH: Dr. Tracey Isidro is a Sports Medicine and non-interventional spine physician in the Department of Rehabilitation and Regenerative Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Isidro is double-board certified in Sports Medicine and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and completed her sports medicine fellowship at NewYork-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medicine. After graduating from Rice University, she attended medical school at The University of Texas Medical Branch where she was Vice President of her class and an Interprofessional Scholar. She did an internship in Internal Medicine at Baylor Scott & White and completed a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) at the then #7 program in the nation Baylor College of Medicine and trained at the then #2 U.S. News and World Report rehabilitation hospital TIRR Memorial Hermann. Dr. Isidro was awarded Top Doctor's Women in Medicine Award in 2022 for being a Top Sports Medicine doctor in New York. Dr. Isidro treats and manages multiple sports and musculoskeletal conditions, uses diagnostic ultrasound as an extension of her physical exam, and performs a variety of ultrasound-guided joint and tendon injections.
