Biography: Kathryn Lorenz, MD is a board certified family practice physician who earned her medical degree from the Boonshoft School of Medicine, Wright State University, Dayton, OH. She completed a family practice residency at Dayton Community Family Medicine, Dayton, OH. Dr. Lorenz joined Premier Physician Network in 2009. Dr. Lorenz received many honors during her training: Introduction to Clinical Medicine Award, Montgomery County Medical Society Alliance Scholarship, and the Ranville Scholarship. She was also a finalist for Outstanding First Year Medical Student.

Biography: Aleda Johnson, MD, who was born in Cleveland, graduated in 1996 from the University of Michigan with her Bachelor's of Science degree in psychology. In 2000, she graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, and in 2003, she completed her residency at the Bethesda Family Practice Residency Program in Cincinnati. For most of the last 14 years, Dr. Johnson has lived in the greater Cincinnati area. She is married with two children and is board certified by the American Board of Family Practice.

Biography: Michael Ruff, MD was born and raised in the Dayton area. After attending medical school at the Medical College of Ohio, he completed his training in Family Medicine at Good Samaritan Hospital (closed in 2018) in Dayton, Ohio in 2001. He has worked in both private practice and academic teaching settings including Wright State University's School of Medicine. His professional interests include office based procedures and providing care for the whole family, including newborns through geriatrics. His personal interests include spending time with his family, sports (especially golf), reading and writing.

Biography: Jay Hoffman, MD is a graduate of Duke University and the Wright State University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Kettering Medical Center in Dayton. Dr. Hoffman is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He has been with SureCare Medical Center since 1995.

Biography: Anthony J. Checroun, MD is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons and is a fellow in the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He specializes in shoulder pathology, including athletic, traumatic and degenerative conditions; shoulder arthroscopy and shoulder replacement surgery; sports medicine; and general orthopedics. He completed a shoulder fellowship at the Hospital for Joint Diseases Orthopedic Institute in New York City, and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the Medical College of Ohio. Dr. Checroun earned his medical degree from Indiana University. Dr. Checroun speaks English and French.

Biography: Christopher Lauricella, DO is a graduate of Florida State University and Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in Family Practice at Grandview Medical Center in Dayton. Dr. Lauricella is certified in Family Practice by the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians. Dr. Lauricella has a special interest in cardiology and sports medicine. He has been with Premier Physician Network since November 2006.

Biography: Angela Long-Prentice, MD is a graduate of the University of Dayton and Wright State University School of Medicine. She completed her residency at Good Samaritan Hospital (closed in 2018) in Dayton. Dr. Long-Prentice is certified in Family Practice by the American Board of Family Physicians. Dr. Long-Prentice has a special interest in women's health and has been with Premier Physician Network since 1994.

Biography: Josh Ordway, MD is excited to serve residents of the Miami Valley region through his medical office, Springboro Family Medicine. Dr. Ordway grew up in a village in northwest Ohio. After completing his undergraduate studies in economics at Princeton University where he was a 3 sport NCAA athlete, Dr. Ordway attended The Ohio State University to take pre-med courses so that he could attend medical school. Dr. Ordway graduated as a doctor of medicine from the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in 2010. He completed his residency program in Dayton through the Wright State University Family Medicine Program in 2013. Dr. Ordway lives in Springboro with his wife, Megan, and their 3 adorable children. He is a former quasi-professional marathon runner. Some of his accomplishments include winning the 2008 Columbus marathon and running in the 2008 and 2012 Olympic marathon trials, placing 21st and 47th, respectively. Dr. Ordway continues to compete at a high level and can be seen running in local races. Dr. Ordway looks forward to caring for family members spanning from infants to the elderly. Some of his special interests include dermatology, geriatrics, joint injections, pediatrics, skin bump and lump removal, sports medicine and women's health. Dr. Ordway is a Credentialed ImPACT® Consultant trained in treating concussions as well as administering and interpreting the ImPACT® test.

Biography: Elizabeth R. Swartzwelder-Cozad, MD graduated from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. She completed her family medicine residency at Wright State University. Dr. Swartzwelder-Cozad is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Ohio Academy of Family Physicians, and the American Medical Association. She is board certified in family medicine.

Biography: Terez Metry, MD is a graduate of Zagazig University in Egypt. She completed her Internship in Internal Medicine at St. Mary's in Rochester, New York and her residency at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. Dr. Metry is certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She has special interest in Women's Health and Diabetes. Dr. Metry has been associated with Premier Physician Network since 1996.

Biography: James J. Klosterman, MD joined Premier Orthopedics in 1997 after fulfilling his service commitment in the United States Air Force. He is a graduate of the University of Dayton and the Cincinnati College of Medicine, and completed his residency in Orthopaedic Medicine at the Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Klosterman provides operative care for a broad set of orthopaedic conditions, including arthroscopy of the knee and shoulder and joint replacement of the hip, shoulder and knee. He is credentialed to offer the Uniknee™ replacement option to suitable candidates. Dr. Klosterman is a member of the UD Sports Medicine Staff. He is well respected in the Miami Valley and acts as the orthopaedic consultant to area high school and club athletic programs. In 2007, Dr. Klosterman was selected as the Collegiate Team Physician of the Year by the Ohio Athletic Trainers Association. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Biography: Warren Ljungren, MD is a graduate of Dartmouth College and the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He completed his residency at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Dayton. He is certified in Family Practice by the American Board of Family Physicians. Dr. Ljungren has a special interest in sports medicine. Dr. Ljungren has been with Beavercreek Family Medicine since its foundation in 1987.

Biography: Shelden C. Wical, DO is a family medicine physician who earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Lake Erie College Of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, PA. He completed his family practice residency and internship at OUCOM/Doctors Hospital in Columbus, OH.Dr. Wical has been the team physician for Fort Loramie High School athletics since 2009. He is a member of a number of professional societies including: American Osteopathic Association, American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, Catholic Medical Association, and Tennessee Osteopathic Medical Association. Dr. Wical is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Practice in family medicine and osteopathic manipulative treatment.
