He also specializes in the surgical treatment of diseases of the liver, biliary tract and pancreas. A native of Slovakia, Dr. Porubsky completed his medical training at Komensky University in Bratislava, Slovakia. He has worked at a number of universities and hospitals around the world including surgery departments in Slovakia, Germany, Illinois, Indiana and Arizona. He is a member of The United Network for Organ Sharing, The American Society for Transplant Surgeons, The American College of Surgeons and The American Medical Association.
