Biography: Dr. Uqba Khan is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine within the faculty of Weill Cornell Medical College in the Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology. Dr. Khan is also an Attending Physician at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.Dr. Khan received his medical degree from Allama Iqbal Medical College, Pakistan in 2008. He underwent his internal medicine training at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore and later completed his hematology/oncology fellowship at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit, where he also served as chief fellow. Dr. Khan has a special interest in treatment of gastrointestinal (GI) malignancies and clinical research. He joined Weill Cornell Medicine in 2018 to complete an additional year of training in management of gastrointestinal malignancies. He also worked as an instructor at Weill Cornell Medical College between 2018 and 2019. In June of 2019, Dr. Khan was promoted to Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine within the faculty of Weill Cornell Medical College in the Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology.Dr. Khan has been involved in a number of clinical and translational research studies. His research focuses on optimizing the effectiveness of immunotherapy in solid malignancies. He has published a number of research articles and is actively involved as an investigator in several clinical trials. He has presented his research findingsat several professional conferences and meetings.Dr. Khan is a member of several national and international professional societies, including the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), the Society of Immunotherapy in Cancer (SITC), the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO) and the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR).

Biography: Dr. Jeff Lin received his college and medical degree from Northwestern University in Chicago, underwent residency training at NewYork-Presybterian Hospital Weill Cornell Medical College here in New York, and then completed gynecologic oncology fellowship training at Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC in Pittsburgh.After training, Dr. Lin entered private practice in the Silicon Valley (even participated in an early-stage biotech start-up!). He then returned to academia at City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Center in Southern California, honing and expanding hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) techniques and surgical approaches, and he is now returning to Weill Cornell Medicine. At Weill Cornell Medicine, Dr. Lin aims to bring his expertise in avant garde surgical techniques and treatment options, such HIPEC, to serve the patients at Cornell. His clinical interests include novel surgical techniques, patient-centered care, and clinical outcomes research.Dr. Lin is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology.
