Dr. Poag has a special interest in 1st Trimester pregnancies, menopausal treatment, minimally invasive surgery, contraceptive counseling, sexual dysfunction, pelvic pain, and adolescent medicine. Dr. Poag earned her Medical Degree from Tulane University Medical School in New Orleans, LA. She completed her OB/GYN Residency Program at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. During her training, Dr. Poag was honored with the Outstanding Resident Award from the Baylor Department OB/GYN, Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Society Stars and Bars Chapter at Tulane University Medical School, The Lemmon MD Award from Tulane University, and American Medical Women's Association Achievement Award. Biography: Wigberto Soto, is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecology (OB-GYN) with Women™s Specialists of Clear Lake in Webster, Texas. Dr. Soto earned his bachelor of arts in biology, and went on to complete his doctorate at University of Puerto Rico. Dr. Soto then finished his internship and residency at San Juan City Hospital. Dr. Soto is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecologists (ABOG). Dr. Soto feels honored to support women throughout their lives and especially helping bringing new life into this world. He has over 30 years of experience and takes a collaborative approach when coming up with treatment plans with his patients always choosing evidence based medicine above all else. When Dr. Soto is not caring for his patients, he loves camping with his three children, and watching baseball and football. Dr. Soto welcomes new patients and referrals at this time.
