Biography: Dr. Hannon is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacement surgery. He has a particular interest in rapid recovery protocols, partial knee replacement, robotic-assisted joint replacement, anterior hip replacement, and complex primary and revision hip and knee replacements. He has authored over 100 peer-reviewed publications and has presented his research nationally and internationally. He has received multiple grants and research awards, including the prestigious American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS) James A. Rand Young Investigator's Award for his research on reducing opioid use after hip and knee replacement. He currently serves as the co-lead investigator for the AAHKS clinical practice guideline on pain control and anesthesia in hip and knee replacement. He is an AAHKS Health Policy Fellow and serves as a peer reviewer for multiple orthopaedic journals.
