Biography: Dr. Star, Medical Director, Orthopaedic and Spine Institute, Abington – Jefferson Health, specializes in total hip and knee replacement surgery. He regularly lectures nationally on modern techniques for total joint replacement and frequently has visiting physicians observe him during surgery to learn the latest techniques.

Biography: Dr. Shakked is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in the treatment of foot and ankle disorders. She completed her residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases and went on to complete a fellowship in Foot and Ankle Surgery at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York. Dr. Shakked has particular interests in ankle instability, athletic injuries of the foot and ankle, and treatment of cartilage injuries. She uses minimally invasive techniques including ankle arthroscopy and also performs total ankle replacement surgery.

Biography: A native of Wilmington, Delaware, Dr. Craig graduated from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, before completing a residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. He then completed the Twin Cities Orthopaedic Trauma Fellowship at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He joined the staff at Abington in August 2008. Dr. Craig is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon, specializing in orthopaedic trauma and reconstructive surgery. He specializes in complex periarticular fracture care of the shoulder, elbow, hip, knee and ankle, as well as pelvic and acetabular fractures. His practice is also focused on the optimal care and outcome of geriatric fracture patients.
