Biography: Dr. Roby Abraham is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon, fellowship trained in adult hip and knee reconstruction. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at SUNY Downstate in New York and his advanced training in adult hip and knee reconstruction at Cleveland Clinic Florida in Weston, Florida. Dr. Abraham went to medical school at the prestigious Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education, BS/MD 7-year program. The program has a core initiative in preventative care, which is synonymous with Dr. Abraham's goal of providing mutli-disciplinary approaches for hip and knee arthritis starting with collaborations with primary care physicians.Dr. Abraham's clinical expertise involves hip and knee arthritis, failed/painful hip and knee replacements, sports related injuries, and fractured bones. Dr. Abraham believes in providing an individualized approach to each patient's condition, considering their social factors, current disabilities and expected outcomes. Treatment without surgery is the first option for most conditions. After appropriate nonoperative treatment a wide variety of operative interventions are offered for each condition. These procedures are explained in detail with the patient and their family as active participants in the discussion.Coactive patient education, where the patient takes ownership of their health and the information given to them is another aspect of Dr. Abraham's practice that he believes improves outcomes. Fostering an environment where patients have direct access to information on their condition and surgeries result in patient's knowing how to manage and cope with their surgical or nonsurgical treatments. The areas where Dr. Abraham has a passion in further researching are: DVT/PE protocols, infection prevention, epidural anesthesia program/Postop pain control/icing program, PT and social work video conference meetings with patients to streamline postop patient disposition including Home PT, DME supplies.Dr. Abraham uses robotic assistance for his primary knee and hip replacements as it augments and objectifies intraoperative goals and parameters. With robotic surgery, Dr. Abraham can verify and check the appropriate position of implants and precision of cuts to within a millimeter. Limb alignment, implant position, and soft tissue balancing are important parameters that are now measurable intraoperatively through robotic surgery.

Biography: Seif Elbualy, M.D., is the director of interventional pain management at Baptist Health's Marcus Neuroscience Institute. Dr. Elbualy specializes in interventional pain management, particularly for spine-related pain and failed back surgery syndrome. Dr. Elbualy joined the Marcus Neuroscience Institute from the Comprehensive Center for Pain Management at Boca Raton Regional Hospital, where he served as director. He is currently an affiliate assistant professor at the Charles A. Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University. He has more than 25 years of experience utilizing medication management and interventional pain therapy. He performs all fluoroscopically guided epidural and selective nerve root blocks, ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve blocks, and radiofrequency denervation. He has additional expertise in spinal cord stimulation, DRG stimulation and intrathecal pump implantation. Dr. Elbualy's goal is to help patients regain as much function as possible to improve their quality of life. He appreciates spending time with and getting to know his patients. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Elbualy enjoys spending time with his family and participating in medical mission trips to Haiti each year.

Care Philosophy: Dr. Man Le earned his medical degree from the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He completed his residency in Anesthesia at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. He practiced anesthesia for several years before discovering the then-new field of pain management. It was a new field I wanted to explore, Dr. Le says. I saw a lot of people suffering from chronic pain. It was a big obstacle in their lives and I realized I could make a difference. That led him to pursue fellowship training in Pain Medicine at Georgetown. He comes to Pain Relief Centers " Boca Raton from South Florida Pain Relief Centers, where he served as medical director for the past 3 years. Previously, he worked at the Comprehensive Pain Management Center in Baton Rouge, La. Before that, Dr. Le served as an attending physician for the Department of Anesthesia and as the medical director for the Pain Management Center at Boca Raton Regional Hospital for more than 10 years. His love of innovation in medicine and individualized care led him to Pain Relief Center.
