Biography: Michael B. Taylor, MD treats all aspects of adult urology with a special focus in benign prostatic hyperplasia (otherwise known as BPH or enlarged prostate), kidney stones, men's health, urethral stricture disease, prostate cancer, and bladder cancer.Dr. Taylor has pioneered several procedures in the state of Idaho. Biography: Dr. Adam Schatz grew up in Wenatchee, WA. He attended Central Washington University and earned degrees in English Literature and History, but he felt his true calling was in medicine. He returned to school and received his MD from Albany Medical College. He remained in Albany, NY, for the completion of his General Surgery Internship and Urology Residency. He is married with three young children and a dog. He and his family have spent nine years on the East Coast, and they are excited to be back in the Pacific Northwest. He enjoys spending time in the great outdoors, hiking, camping, biking, skiing, and exploring. Dr. Schatz is a board eligible urologist, with broad interest in general urologic care. He sees patients of all ages, including men, women, and children. He is particularly interested in prostate health, voiding dysfunction, erectile dysfunction, bladder cancer, kidney cancer, prostate cancer, and stone disease. Dr. Schatz is a member of the Idaho Medical Association and the Ada County Medical Society. Dr. Schatz has medical privileges at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Centers, Boise and Nampa; Boise VA Medical Center in Boise, and Treasure Valley Hospital. Biography: Nicholas J. Kuntz, MD, is a board-certified urologist who joined Idaho Urologic Institute in 2021, after serving as a urologist for 11 years in the US Army. He is a native of the Treasure Valley, and a graduate of Eagle High School. He received an undergraduate degree from Whitworth University in Spokane, WA, followed by a Medical Degree from the Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He completed a General Surgery Internship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, followed by a residency in urologic surgery, and a research fellowship in endourology at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC. Before returning to Idaho, Dr. Kuntz spent 5 years in practice at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany. Dr. Kuntz is well-versed in a full spectrum of urologic conditions and specializes in da Vinci® robotic surgery and other minimally invasive surgical techniques. He has special interests in the treatment of prostate and kidney malignancies, as well as BPH (enlarged prostate), and complex kidney stones. Dr. Kuntz treats men, women, and children, and sees patients in our Nampa and Meridian clinics. He has medical privileges at Saint Alphonsus Boise and Nampa; Treasure Valley Hospital in Boise; West Valley Medical Center in Caldwell, and the Boise VA Medical Center. Dr. Kuntz is a member of the Idaho Medical Association and the Ada County Medical Society.
