Biography: Dr. Abouelmagd is a native of Egypt in practice since 1992. She completed her medical education at Cairo University School of Medicine in Cairo, Egypt. Dr. Abouelmagd then went on to complete her residency training at Cairo University Hospital and Algalaa Maternity Teaching Hospital in Cairo Egypt. During this period she held the position of Government Medical Officer at the Maadi Maternal Child Care Center in Cairo, Egypt. Throughout her career, her primary interest has focused in serving diverse Hispanic communities. Making sure they receive the care they deserve despite the language or literacy skills that may exist. Dr. Urena earned her medical degree at the Instituto Tecnologico de Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic, and she also holds a Masters degree in Clinical Nutrition from the same institution. Dr. Urena loves working with children of all ages, and her goal as a pediatrician is to help families build strong foundations in their efforts to raise healthy and happy children.
