Biography: Dr. Kalliope Tsirilakis is the Director of Pediatric Pulmonology and the Pediatric Asthma Center at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens. She is also an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medicine and an assistant attending pediatrician at New York-Presbyterian Komansky Children's Hospital. A lifelong New Yorker, born in Brooklyn and raised in Westchester, she graduated from Weill-Cornell Medical College and completed her residency in Pediatrics at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Tsirilakis continued her training at the Children's Hospital at Montefiore in the Bronx, where she completed a Fellowship in Pediatric Respiratory Medicine. She is Board Certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Pulmonology. Her expertise includes the full spectrum of pediatric pulmonary conditions, with special expertise in Severe Asthma, Patient Education, Quality Improvement, Flexible Bronchoscopy, and Aerodigestive disorders. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Tsirilakis is involved in research and education. She has several research interests spanning Quality Improvement Initiatives, Asthma Education Programs, Health Care Disparities, Telehealth programs, and Pathophysiologic and Inflammatory Mechanisms of Asthma.Dr. Tsirilakis is also active in community engagement, working closely with St. Mary's Home Care Program and the NYP Queens Community Health Worker Program . She is also lead faculty advisor on the New York State Department of Health's BREATHE-NY asthma education program. She is fluent in Modern Greek and conversational in Spanish.

Biography: Dr. Shannon Bennett earned her PhD from Boston University where she received research and clinical training at the Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders. As the recipient of a Boston University research and training fellowship, Dr. Bennett contributed to several cognitive-behavioral treatment research programs within the Child and Adolescent Fear and Anxiety Program. Dr. Bennett also led a multi-disciplinary research team focused on the psychosocial needs of women who experience perinatal loss, and earned a National Research Service Award for this research effort. Dr. Bennett has contributed to multiple publications and presentations on these topics. Dr. Bennett completed her clinical internship training at the UCLA Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital and the UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior. Following her intern year, she continued to work within the UCLA Child and Adolescent OCD, Anxiety, and Tic Disorders Program, contributing to their treatment and research efforts. Dr. Bennett was a Co-Founder and Associate Director of the Pediatric Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Intensive Treatment Program at UCLA. She also served as the staff psychologist for the Fit for Health Weight program for childhood obesity within the Department of Pediatrics at UCLA.

Biography: Dr. Jane Rosini received her undergraduate degree in Biopsychology from Vassar College. She attended the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Medicine. She completed her residency and Chief Residency at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City.Upon completion of residency, she joined a private practice on the upper Eastside of NYC through the Mount Sinai Faculty Practice. Biography: Elvira Parravicini, MD, is a perinatologist/neonatologist, Director of the Neonatal Comfort Care Program, and Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Columbia University Medical Center. She also obtained a Certification in Palliative Medicine from Harvard University. Her passion for helping the most fragile patients in the neonatal population inspired Dr. Parravicini to create a unique and innovative program for infants affected by life-limiting or life-threatening conditions. The Neonatal Comfort Care Program addresses the complex medical and non-medical needs of infants and their families. The interdisciplinary Neonatal Comfort Care Program includes a core team with a nurse coordinator, a social worker, a program manager, and Dr. Parravicini serves as medical director. Other NICU professionals, including speech pathologist, lactation consultant, child life specialist, psychologist, and chaplaincy collaborate with the core team. They work together to establish a state of comfort for babies in a compassionate, loving environment and provide support to families. Biography: Dr. Mia Svensson graduated from Tufts University where she performed her undergraduate work and received a BA in French. She attended medical school at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center and completed her residency in Pediatrics at New York Presbyterian Hospital - Weill Cornell Medical Center. Biography: Dr. Audrey Olivera Schwabe graduated from Cornell University and received her MD from the University of Michigan Medical School in 1994. She completed her Internship at Lucille Packard Children's Hospital at Standford Medical Center, CA and her Pediatric Residency at Montefiore Medical Center, NY. Prior to her joining Weill Cornell Medical Associates in 2001 she worked for several years in primary care settings affiliated with Montefiore Medical Center, Soundshore Medical Center and St. John's Riverside Hospital and supervised resident physicians.
