Biography: James S. Raphael, MD, is the Chairman of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery, and Director of the Hand Surgery Program at Einstein Medical Center. Dr. Raphael specializes in the treatment of chronic and traumatic conditions of the hand, wrist and elbow. He is regionally recognized for his proficiency in today's most advanced orthopedic surgery procedures, including arthroscopy, microsurgery, replantation, free-tissue transfer, nervesurgery and reconstruction. Biography: Chris Williamson, MD, specializes in hand, wrist and elbow surgery – including ``wide awake`` hand surgery – treating traumatic and sports-related injuries. He has a focus on nerve and tendon surgery, treating patients for fracture care, carpal tunnel, cubital tunnel, trigger fingers, tennis and golfers elbow, as well as other forms of tendinitis. Prior to joining Einstein, Dr. Williamson earned his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia, followed by an Upper Extremity Fellowship at the Rothman Institute. He has lectured regionally and nationally, authored multiple articles in peer-reviewed journals and book chapters and is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the American Association for Hand Surgery and the Philadelphia Orthopedic Society. Dr. Williamson is seeing patients at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery and Einstein Healthcare Network King of Prussia.
