Biography: Samik Banerjee, MD, an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in hip and knee replacement surgery, is part of Einstein Healthcare Network's Department of Orthopedics and Total Joints Surgery. Dr. Banerjee received his medical degree and completed an orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Calcutta, India. Board-certified in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Goldstein specializes in primary and revision adult hip and knee reconstruction, in addition to orthopedic trauma surgery. He is active in medical research within the orthopedic discipline. Dr. Goldstein received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College. He completed his general surgery internship and orthopedic surgical residency at Albert Einstein Medical, where he was Chief Resident and recipient of the Resident Research Award. He furthered his medical training with a fellowship in adult hip and knee reconstruction at New England Baptist Hospital in Boston, MA.
