Biography: Dr. Stephen Benson has been working in the Conejo Valley for the last 20 years. He attended Brigham Young University where he graduated with a degree in Molecular Biology. He attended the California College of Podiatric Medicine and completed a three-year podiatric surgical residency at the VA Hospital in West Los Angeles. Dr. Benson continues to help teach students and residents at both the VA Hospital and Olive View-UCLA medical center. He is a clinical adjunct professor at both the Ohio and Arizona colleges of podiatric medicine. He is an associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the American Professional Wound Care Association. Dr. Benson is certified in wound care by the council for medical education and testing.

Care Philosophy: Recently I celebrated my 25th anniversary in practice. My job is to provide patients with enough information to make the bests decision for their needs. I understand that every patient and every decision about care is unique and look forward to helping you with yours. Personally, I live in Oak Park, am a Rotarian, have volunteered for six surgery trips to Honduras and am Board Certified. I was honored to be appoininted in 2012 to the State Podiatric Medical Board by Governor Jerry Brown
