Biography: Dr. Williams completed The Maryland Spine Fellowship Program in 2002 under the direction of Paul C. McAfee MD, Associate Professor of Orthopedics and Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery at The Johns Hopkins University. He specializes in common conditions, ranging from cervical and lumbar disc herniations to more complex reconstructive procedures including adult scoliosis and degenerative spondylolisthesis. Dr Williams has also been at the forefront of minimally invasive spine surgery since 2004. This includes outpatient surgeries and innovative techniques such as total disc replacement. Biography: Chris Williamson, MD, specializes in hand, wrist and elbow surgery – including ``wide awake`` hand surgery – treating traumatic and sports-related injuries. He has a focus on nerve and tendon surgery, treating patients for fracture care, carpal tunnel, cubital tunnel, trigger fingers, tennis and golfers elbow, as well as other forms of tendinitis. Prior to joining Einstein, Dr. Williamson earned his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia, followed by an Upper Extremity Fellowship at the Rothman Institute. He has lectured regionally and nationally, authored multiple articles in peer-reviewed journals and book chapters and is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the American Association for Hand Surgery and the Philadelphia Orthopedic Society. Dr. Williamson is seeing patients at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery and Einstein Healthcare Network King of Prussia.
