Biography: Dr. Tressa Malikkal is the owner and clinical director of the Vision and Learning Center. Established in 2000, the center was initially part of her primary care practice. Dr. Malikkal also works part-time at a primary care, full-scope optometry practice, My Eye Dr. (formerly Trappe Family Eyecare), located right downstairs from the Vision and Learning Center. Dr. Malikkal received her optometric training at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, graduating in May of 1997. She went on to complete a residency in the Pediatric and Vision Therapy Program at the State University of New York (SUNY). Additionally, she holds a Fellowship from the College of Optometrist in Vision Development (FCOVD). She also has earned the A.M. Skeffington Award, which is presented to the COVD Fellow who has made outstanding contributions to the optometric literature
