Care Philosophy: Dr. Bowen is a board certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist who has been practicing medicine and caring for women from adolescence to late adult life for over 15 years. She is a wife to a business owner and a mother of two beautiful young daughters. She chose the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology because she wanted continuity of care with her patients. She started her career in medicine at her undergraduate Alma Mater, The City College of NY in New York City, graduating Cum Laude and went on to be accepted into Downstate Medical Center at SUNY Brooklyn and trained at the King's County Medical Center seeing and diagnosing patients from all over the world with rare diseases and complicated medical histories. She spent a hiatus after medical school at the Albert Einstein School of Medicine in medical research in Women's Health and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. She has been published under the mentorship of leading physicians in this field and in the follow up studies to the Women's Health Initiative. Dr. Bowen proceeded to do a general surgery internship in York, Pennsylvania at York Hospital with a focus on Plastic and Reconstructive surgery. This prepared her well for her internship and residency in Women's Health and Obstetrics and Gynecology. She has practiced general Obstetrics and Gynecology in the State of Florida since 2010. Dr. Bowen joined the practice in 2010 and is on staff at a number of hospitals across the county. Her focus is on adolescent health, the menopausal transition, sexual health, weight management and fat loss lasers and genetic testing for hereditary cancers. She is extensively trained in Minimally Invasive surgery including laparoscopic and Robotic procedures. She is also trained in Botox and facial fillers as well as Laser liposuction. She is a member of the ACOG (American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology), ABOG (American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology), AMA (American Medical Association), NMA (National Medical Association) and SLS (Society of Laparosopic Surgeons).

Biography: This physician is accepting telehealth visits.Doctor Emerick has delivered babies and taken care of gynecologic patients in Wellington since 2000. He is committed to providing women with the best gynecological care possible. He is well versed in minimally invasive procedures, in addition to treating a full complement of gynecological services.Dr. Emerick is provides his patients an individualized birth experience, and is experienced in caring for women through normal and high-risk pregnancies. His expertise extends beyond women of childbearing years. Outside of obstetrics, Dr. Emerick is skilled in treating common gynecologic conditions like endometriosis, pelvic pain, fibroids, sexually transmitted infections, menopause and hormonal imbalances. Dr. Emerick has a special interest in the role of weight loss in women's health.

Biography: This physician is accepting telehealth visits. Originally from Venezuela, Dr. Yocoima Plaza obtained her medical degree from Universidad Central de Venezuela. In 2005, Dr. Plaza, her husband and seven children relocated to the U.S. She completed her internship at Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago and went on to complete her Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency at Winnie Palmer Hospital in Orlando. Throughout her education, Dr. Plaza was given the opportunity to treat a broad range of patients with different backgrounds and gynecological conditions. During her residency she received extensive training in minimally invasive gynecologic robotic and laparoscopic procedures in addition to outstanding obstetrical training. Her fluency in Spanish and French allows her to connect with patients from Hispanic and Haitian communities here in Palm Beach County. She is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Plaza provides care for patients at a number of local hospitals, and sees patients at the Wellington, Jupiter and Atlantis offices.

Biography: Dr. Harishchander Madhav is a board certified obstetrician and gynecologist serving patients from throughout the Boynton Beach, Florida area at Excellent Woman Care. Dr. Madhav provides a variety of services including minimally invasive robotic and laparoscopic surgeries for pelvic tumors and cysts, treatments for genital prolapse, urinary incontinence, infertility, abnormal pap smears, and pelvic pain. Dr. Madhav earned his medical degree at Seth G.S. Medical College in Bombay, India. He then served his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Orlando Regional Medical Center. He also earned a master's degree in Public Health at the University of Southern Florida, Tampa. Dr. Madhav is a member of the American Urogynecology Society, the American Medical Association, the Florida Medical Association, and the Palm Beach County Medical Society. He is also a Fellow of the American Congress of OB/GYN. Dr. Madhav is dedicated to providing the best possible care to his patients. He stays abreast of the latest innovations in robotic and laparoscopic surgical techniques and other developments in obstetrics and gynecology to help his patients to achieve the best possible health outcomes. Dr. Madhav is currently looking forward to meeting new patients at his practice in Boynton Beach, Florida.
