As your physician, Dr. Leon takes the time to answer your questions and treats you how he would like to be treated: with respect, compassion and a caring attitude. Dr. Leon received his medical degree from the University of Southern California and his completed his residency program at White Memorial Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. He is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology .

Biography: As a board-certified OB/GYN, Camela McGrath, MD, FACOG makes sure her patients' safety and well-being is a top priority, but she also enjoys interacting with the women under her care at North County Women's Specialists. She's currently accepting new patients at this Escondido, California clinic. Dr. McGrath earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, where she was awarded a prestigious in-state scholarship. She went through her residency training at Columbus Hospital in Chicago. During her residency, Dr. McGrath served as chief resident and was elected ``Resident Teacher of the Year`` by her peers. She maintains her board certification through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. McGrath is also a fellow of The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Honored by the privilege of helping bring life into this world on a regular basis, Dr. McGrath enjoys providing obstetrical care for women, including those who have special needs due to high-risk pregnancies. Dr. McGrath is even a go-to physician for teenagers and young patients who need contraception and safe sex practices counseling. Because Dr. McGrath has extensive training in minimally invasive gynecological treatments and surgeries, she can care for patients who have abnormal uterine bleeding, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), uterine fibroids, and endometriosis, among other chronic conditions.
