Biography: Jan Johnson, FNP-C, joined CenterWell as a board-certified family nurse practitioner. Mr. Johnson earned his Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner from Emory University School of Nursing in Atlanta, GA. Before joining CenterWell in 2023, Mr. Johnson was a family nurse practitioner with Emory Healthcare, specializing in urinary health issues affecting older adults. He previously worked at Nuber-T Men's Health Clinic and Wellstar Healthcare, where he participated in a 12-month leadership training program. His experience helped prepare him for many common illnesses and diseases in the senior population and to educate his patients, helping empower them to manage their conditions and improve their quality of life. Mr. Johnson believes in treating his patients with the same respect and care he envisions for his own loved ones, ensuring a strong doctor-patient relationship built on trust and comfort, a philosophy that resonates with CenterWell's values. Mr. Johnson chose healthcare to help people live healthier lives. Outside of work, he loves spending time with his wife, traveling, and watching movies, especially 1940s black-and-white films and British mysteries.
