Biography: Donald Hilton, MD is a board-certified neurosurgeon specializing in minimally invasive spine surgery. Dr. Hilton graduated cum laude with his medical degree from the University of Texas-Galveston in 1988. He continued towards a surgery internship and later residency training in neurosurgery at the University of Tennessee. Dr. Hilton is nationally recognized for assisting in developing the first tubular dilating system designed to be used collaboratively with a three-dimensional microscope. This system has widely impacted surgical treatment for herniated discs, degenerative joints, and spinal stenosis. In addition, Dr. Hilton has been recognized as one of the Best Doctors in America since 2009, Castle Connolly since 2010, and a Texas Super Doctor. He is a published author of several book chapters, peer-reviewed journals, and his book; He Restoreth My Soul. Dr. Donald Hilton has spoken nationally and internationally concerning minimally invasive surgery. Biography: Dr. Holger E.I. Skerhut is a Diplomate of the American Board of Neurological Surgery. Born in Germany, Dr. Skerhut has called San Antonio his home since the age of four. An alumnus of Central Catholic High School, Dr. Skerhut completed undergraduate studies at St. Mary's University and finished both medical school and neurosurgical residency training at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
