Biography: Michele Carlson, CNM, MS serves as a certified nurse midwife with Women's Health Specialists and Midwives of Dayton. She earned a bachelor's of science degree in nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University. Biography: Neva Dehart, CNM, MSN, NPWH received a BS in Nursing at Wright State University, then continued her education at the University of Cincinnati where she earned a Master's Degree in Nursing as a Certified Nurse Midwife and a certificate as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. Biography: Kelly Welsh, APRN-CNP, CNM is a dual board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Certified Nurse Midwife. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, from the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, OH in 2013 and her Postgraduate Certificate in Midwifery from Frontier Nursing University in Versailles, KY in 2021. Kelly received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Wright State University in 2008. She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and as a Certified Nurse Midwife by the American Midwifery Certification Board. Kelly provides full-spectrum midwifery care, including all gynecological procedures and comprehensive birth control options. As a midwife, Kelly is passionate about attending births at Miami Valley Hospital. She also manages primary care needs and cares for women of all ages. She received her Associated Degree in Nursing from Indian River State College in Fort Pierce, FL in 2007. Janece is certified as a nurse midwife by the American Midwifery Certification Board.


Biography: Paige Short, CNM earned a Master of Science in Nursing, Midwifery in 2021, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2017, and an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing in 2016, all from the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, OH.
