Biography: Dr. Michael Morelock graduated from the Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska in 1979. He completed his Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) specialty training at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland in 1984, during which he served at the National Children's Hospital in Washington, DC and the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. He is board certified by the American Academy of Otolaryngology.

Biography: Dr. Jennifer MacEwan was born and raised here in San Diego, graduating from Mount Carmel High School after which she pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and Biology at Cornell University in upstate New York. She attended medical school at Eastern Virginia Medical School where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She then returned to California where she completed her residency in Otolaryngology at Loma Linda University. During her time there, she was awarded the Foundation Resident Humanitarian Travel Grant from the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery Foundation to travel to the Marshall Islands to provide her skills in Ear, Nose, and Throatsurgery to the residents of Majuro. Although Dr. MacEwan has an interest in all areas of Otolaryngology, she also underwent additional training after residency in Voice and Swallowing Disorders with Dr. John Sok at Kaiser Permanente Fontana Medical Center. She is very excited to return home and give back to the community where she was raised.

Biography: Dr. Wadhwa graduated Magna Cum Laude from Jefferson Medical College in 1999. He was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society during his junior year of medical school. After graduating medical school, Dr. Wadhwa studied Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery during his residency at the University of California at Irvine. He is on the medical staff at Palomar Pomerado Hospital and is an active member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy, and the California and San Diego Medical Associations. Dr. Wadhwa is married and has two daughters, a son, and a golden retriever. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, sailing and hockey. Biography: Dr. Quesnell grew up in Northern California. She received her Bachelor's of Science degree in Microbiology at UC Santa Barbara. She attended Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences where she received her medical degree. She completed her Neurology residency training at the University of Kansas in Kansas City, KS along with a fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology. She then served as a clinical assistant professor in Neurology at the University of Kansas prior to joining the Neurology Center in 2016. Biography: Dr. Lawler is a board-certified member of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the Movement Disorders Society. She is also the medical director of the Parkinson's Association of San Diego. Dr. Lawler is originally from Ohio where she completed undergrad at Ohio University and also studied abroad through Duke University in Costa Rica where she completed a Spanish immersion program. She came back to Ohio for medical school at University of Toledo and then went on to complete her residency training in neurology at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington D.C., where she served as chief resident. Dr. Lawler stayed at Georgetown University to complete a fellowship in Movement and Memory Disorders at the highly acclaimed Translational Neurotherapeutics Program where she was extensively involved in clinical research, including the pivotal ongoing study using Nilotinib for treatment of Parkinson's Disease and Alzheimer's Disease, helped start the first ever Parkinsonism and Dementia clinic, and participated in baseline cognitive and neurologic assessments of retired NFL players for the NFL Players association. Dr. Lawler has published a variety of papers and posters on topics involving the use of Nilotinib in the treatment of Parkinson's Disease and Lewy Body Disease. Dr. Lawler is experienced in treating many different neurologic conditions but specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of Movement Disorders, offering a wide variety of treatment options beyond traditional medical management for Parkinson 's Disease including programming and management of Deep Brain Stimulation and the Duopa LCIG infusion pump. Dr. Lawler also specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of Autonomic conditions, muscle dystonia and spasticity using Botulinum toxin injections, as well as all of the various types of dementia. Dr. Lawler is very passionate about the care and treatment of patients with memory disorders and plans to start a new program and center of excellence with the goal of not only improving patient care and treatment options but starting a nationwide campaign of awareness.

Biography: Dr. Nielsen is a board-certified member of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Prior to practicing in San Diego, Dr. Nielsen completed her medical internship and residency training in neurology at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona. She continued at the Mayo Clinic with a fellowship in neurophysiology. Dr. Nielsen received her medical degree from Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she graduated with honors in the top 5 percent of her class. She also graduated with high honors from UC Santa Barbara while earning her bachelor of arts in physiology. As a general neurologist, Dr. Nielsen treats a variety of neurological conditions, including epilepsy, dementia, multiple sclerosis, and nerve and spinal cord issues. She has a special interest in helping patients with migraines and stroke. As a board-certified neurophysiologist, she performs nerve conduction studies (NCS) and electromyography (EMG) testing to help diagnose disorders of muscles and peripheral nerves. Dr. Nielsen believes that every patient relationship is a partnership developed by trust and communication. By encouraging her patients to play an active role in their health, she helps ensure each patient is involved in the decision-making process. A native of southern California, Dr. Nielsen enjoys hiking, snowboarding and spending time with her husband and two kids.
