Care Philosophy: Eugene Cho, MD, FACS, is a board-certified general surgeon specializing in laparoscopic procedures, with special interest in surgery for heartburn, hernias, gallstones, spleen and adrenal problems. Drawn to medicine for the ability to help others, Dr. Cho believes the most important aspect of care is educating his patients about their health problem and treatment options. Dr. Cho is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is also a member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, Society for Surgery of the Alimentary Tract, and many others.

Care Philosophy: Thomas Schleichert, DO, is a general surgeon who provides safe, high quality patient care. Understanding that surgery can be a stressful and intimidating event, he strives to ease these sentiments by building a trusting relationship with each patient and creating a supportive environment. His goal is for his patients to feel confident that all their questions and concerns have been addressed and that they will receive the best care possible. He believes in maintaining cost-effective practices, and uses evidence-based medicine to drive and support this approach. Dr. Schleichert trained with renowned colorectal surgeons at the Ferguson Clinic and has extensive experience practicing at a Breast Cancer Center of Excellence (Grand Rapids, Michigan). He is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, American Osteopathic Association and American Medical Association. Outside of work, Dr. Schleichert enjoys being outdoors with his wife and daughters, ice hockey, baseball and skiing.

Biography: Amy Stepan, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon whose special medical interests include breast, colorectal, biliary, endocrine and laparoscopic surgery._x000D_ Dr. Amy feels privileged to get to know her patients and assist them through what is often a stressful time. Care Philosophy: Haroon P. Anwar, MD is a board-certified general surgeon who specializes in bariatric and minimally invasive surgery. He practices at Franciscan Center for Weight Management in Federal Way and operates at St. Francis Hospital. A highly skilled surgeon, Dr. Anwar is fellowship trained in laparoscopic, gastrointestinal and bariatric procedures as well as surgical critical care.
