Care Philosophy: I became a physician for the simple reason that I wanted to do something for others and to make a difference in their lives. With disorders of the digestive tract, peoples lives are changed in a very fundamental way. These people have pain, discomfort, irregular habits, and a wide variety of symptoms that range from unpleasant and embarrassing to disruptive and debilitating. These are people who truly need help, and an improved quality of life. This is my motivation as a physician.

Care Philosophy: I consider my approach to care to be patient-centered. I believe it is important to give the patient time to tell their story in order to accurately diagnose their condition. I like to involve the patient in the treatment of their condition as I believe one treatment strategy does not fit all patients. When possible, I like to start with nutrition and lifestyle changes and only provide medications when necessary. I consider my interactions with patients caring and lighthearted. I am honest and empathetic. Ultimately, I hope to improve the health of my patients and give them knowledge about their condition and peace of mind.

Care Philosophy: My job is to help my patients maximize their gastrointestinal health so that they can flourish and live a healthy life. Through careful one-on-one discussion and appropriate use of lab testing, radiology, and endoscopy, I will try my best to find the cause of whatever is concerning my patients. Our office is dedicated to promptly answering our patients' concerns and questions.

Care Philosophy: Gastroenterologists face a number of challenges in their daily routine, and that certainly contributed to my wanting to become a GI specialist. I enjoy a good challenge, and the rewards of being able to have a direct and positive impact on how people feel and on the quality of the lives they lead. A big part of this is knowing that it is important and does make a difference, which is why I strive always to provide the very highest level of care for each and every person I see.

Care Philosophy: My philosophy of care is 'First do no harm.' Beyond that, I would characterize myself as very professional and open with patients during their visits with me. I like to get my patients involved to the point where they feel empowered in every aspect of their care. My goal is to answer any question they come to me with and to help them understand or cope with those GI issues that cannot be cured but must be managed in order to improve the patient's quality of life.

Care Philosophy: I really enjoy working one-on-one with patients to solve problems, preventing cancer with screening colonoscopy and seeing results, both procedurally and in the clinic. I am understanding, straightforward, detailed and thorough. I like to empower my patients to manage their own conditions by helping them understand their physiology, what can go wrong when they have certain diseases and their treatment options. I am extremely thorough, and I provide evidence-based medicine to help patients achieve the best results and a better quality of life

Care Philosophy: I am honest and sincere with patients. They are coming in and seeing me when they are concerned or worried or stressed or anxious. I give them a sense of confidence that we are doing the right thing for them and that we, as a team, will get them feeling better. I take time to help them understand what's happening and what they can do to help themselves. I've learned that it pays to listen to what each patient is really saying. It makes accurate diagnosis much easier. Good services are imperative, but accurate diagnoses and skillful, safe procedures are what patients count on
