Biography: Hani S. Sabahi, MD, is a board-certified gastroenterologist practicing in Fairfax and Reston, Virginia, as part of the team at Advanced Medical GI PC (AMGi PC).Dr. Sabahi brings his 9 years of experience in the field of gastroenterology, with special interest in managing patients with ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease (IBD), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), chronic constipation, and colon cancer screening.Dr. Sabahi has a research background in irritable bowel syndrome, Barrett's esophagus, hepatitis C antiviral therapies, chronic constipation, and fecal microbiota transplantation. He received his medical training at Harbor Hospital/University of Maryland. He was also selected to be Chief Resident in Internal Medicine. As an undergraduate at the University of Virginia, he also had the honor of being a Lawn Resident at Thomas Jefferson's original academic village.Dr. Gill has numerous research publications in scientific journals in Gastroenterology, Molecular Biology/Cancer Research, and Internal Medicine. He has served on advisory boards and as a consultant for hospital systems, American College of Gastroenterology and the pharmaceutical industry. He is married and has two children. Biography: Dr. Rahul Kataria is board-certified in Gastroenterology. Dr. Kataria has had multiple research publications in peer-reviewed Gastroenterology journals. These publications focused on diseases such as Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease, Barrett's Esophagus, Pelvic Floor Disorders, as well as nutritional-based treatments for gastrointestinal diseases.Dr. Kataria received his Gastroenterology training from Temple University Hospital, where he spent an additional year specializing in Gastrointestinal Motility Diseases. He completed his medical residency at Jackson Memorial/University of Miami Hospital and medical school at Temple University School of Medicine.
